Integrations with 3D asset libraries, like Poly and Sketchfab, provide in-app access to a wide variety of free or Creative Commons licensed models you can use (Torch even generates an attribution list for your projects).
When you’re just getting started with 3D design, we recommend that you use inexpensive and readily-available assets that you can update and polish as your designs mature. Find the right assets for your project.
If you want to use your own 3D assets in Torch AR, connect your Dropbox account for easy access and live asset updating.
On a final note, don’t underestimate the power of 2D assets in a 3D space! It’s easy to get started with Torch AR just using PNG, GIF, and MOV files straight from your camera roll or device storage.
